Accessibility

What we build for

• Keyboard first: every action — including moving violations across the board — works without a mouse, with visible focus rings and a shortcuts reference (press ? in the app).
• Screen readers: semantic landmarks, labeled controls, status changes announced, and current-page indication in navigation.
• Motion: decorative animation is disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
• Contrast and theming: light and dark themes both maintain readable contrast, and form controls follow your system color scheme.
• Documents: exported PDFs use real text, not images, so they remain machine-readable.

Known limitations

Drag-and-drop on the violations board has an equivalent keyboard and menu path, but the drag interaction itself is not assistive-technology friendly; use the move menu on each card. Audio recordings are transcribed to text when transcription is configured, which serves as the accessible alternative.
